Kaviraj Thadani, A chef,Restaurateur and Food Product development specialist.
Chef Kaviraj has been creative in the kitchen since the early age of 11. Growing up with parents fanatical about food and travel he was exposed to a world of experimental cuisine and cooking techniques. Realizing his passion and curiosity for food early on led him to study at the prestigious Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland.

After graduating with a Diploma in hotel management he returned to India to apprentice with the Leela group of hotels. In 2010 he opened his own restaurant and bar, CoolChef Café in Worli, Mumbai. The experience of becoming a restaurateur pushed him and gave him a greater understanding on the food business.

He finally decided to move on in 2013 after which he took up the challenge to work in the gourmet food business with the foremost company, Fortune Gourmet Specialities. It was from this very experience that he realised the opportunity in producing specialised processed meat to the Indian consumer. After a year of working and enhancing the product he re-started the Kaavo Meat brand to provide the finest processed and value added meat products to the Indian Market.
